Please join us in prayer for the President of our Board of Trustees, Dave Peiffer. Dave and his wife, Margery, have been Board of Trustees members since 1992 when founders, Bob and Estelle Dawson, asked them to serve. Dave has been President of the Board since 2015. In July, Dave was diagnosed with bladder cancer. He has undergone several surgical procedures and a variety of tests to diagnose and treat this condition. We are requesting God's people to pray for us as Dave will be starting immunotherapy treatments which are slated to be ongoing for several years. We are thankful that the treatment is considered "curative care" at this stage. We know the Lord is in charge. Will you please join us in asking our Wonderful Lord for His healing and for us to have wisdom and ongoing peace? We submit to his will even as we ask for Dave's restoration to health. God is able. He is sovereign. Praise Jesus, Dave is in His loving hands.

Airton and Vera Moura Word of Life Bible Seminary - Sao Paulo, Brazil
Airton and Vera serve the Lord for Word of Life in Brazil. They serve as Chief of Counselors at the WOL Youth Camps, and also as a Professor at the WOL Brazil Seminary in Sao Paulo. They have been coming to Cedar Lane during their furloughs for 35 years!
Please keep the Mouras in prayer as they continue to train future leaders through the seminary and also for Vera as she has been suffering from Trigeminal neuralgia which affects a nerve in her face and causes severe pain. Please pray for answers soon to alleviate the pain and symptoms!
Please keep their beloved Brazil in your prayers as the people there are facing serious threats to their way of life, including a potential threat to their freedom of religion.
